The EHS Manager will report to the plant manager and will be responsible for all areas of development, administration and enforcement of comprehensive safety, security, health and environmental control programs for a fast-paced manufacturing plant.  
Responsibilities will include:
  • Maintaining and improving all safety initiatives 
  • Promoting and leading the safety plan 
  • Managing the environmental program 
  • Developing, conducting and presenting safety training 
  • Leading safety committee meetings 
  • Serving as the primary contact for all federal, state and local government related inspections, including ISO14001 compliance 
  • Maintaining of records and logs related to safety and environmental 
  • Managing Title V permitting and reporting
  • Conducting and overseeing accident investigation 
  • Overseeing worker’s compensation processes 
  • Maintaining KPIs and expected performance measurables related to safety, health and environmental 
  • Previous experience in leading safety culture improvements
  • Administering the 5S program 
  • Other duties directed by management
Job Requirements
Requirements for the EHS Manager:
1. A Bachelor’s Degree in a related or technical field 
2. At least 3-5 years of experience working in a similar EHS role in a manufacturing environment
3. A background focused primarily in safety
4. Strong auditing experience
5. A solid background with worker's compensation
6. Experience creating and administering training
7. Microsoft Office products
